TONY BUMP has been doing theatre at Slocum House Theatre since 1980, when he did a stint as a properties assistant.  From there he was promoted to the summer butler for 5 years of Victorian Festivals.  Then Hermine Decker allowed, after much begging, him to direct his first play at age 19.  The 2010 season will mark the 30^th play Tony has directed for Slocum House.   He has also enjoyed acting in such Slocum House plays as The Wild Duck, The Miser, Ruddigore, and many others.  He has loved directing such challenging shows as Sweeney Todd, A Little Night Music and the 20^th Anniversary Victorian Festival where he mounted three of the shows that were performed in the first Victorian Festival in 1981.  Tony has served for many years on the Slocum House Board of Directors and has a huge place in his heart for this unique theatre family.
